50's style

For a friends theme party which motto was "The Fifties" I bought a petticoat for the first time. I bought it here and was happy with it from the beginning. It's a black city petticoat with two layers and it's good if you want to wear it also for normal occasions.

petticoat: Petticoatshop Berlin
skirt: Orsay
T-Shirt: H&M
gloves: thrifted
bag: thrifted (more about my bags here)
brooch: thrifted
hat: Zara
shoes: thrifted
cherry earrings: don't know anymore
Have a colourful day!

Miss Maple as Miss Universe

I love to dress up in a costume. So carnival is right for me. This year I went to the only theme party in our town. The motto was: space. Cause I didn't have the time to sew a flamboyant costume, I went as Miss Universe. See my perfect body and my muscles. Haha!!! My skirt was full of planets, moons and stars, black holes, galaxies and some blue glitzy planetary nebula.
Besides I even had a planet handbag ...

... blue glitzy earrings, a sun necklace ...
... and very blue eyeshadow which looked a little bit like I had had a fight before and was the loser, but it was too late to remove it before the party. So what!

The party was fun. We danced a lot and admired the most creative costumes. Like these:

Have a spacy day!

Platonic polyhedra

You know that I love to work with paper and I love mathematics. It was my favourite subject at school. So it's great that I recently found a DIY project on platonic polyhedra. I want to make them myself as soon as possible.

 Have a platonic day!
