Fancy coloured baubles

You know that I love colours, also really fancy combinations, even when it's Christmas!

The rainbow coloured baubles are old ones from my grandmother.
Have a fancy day!

Ruby slippers

If you've saved two ore three million dollars !!! you can make a good bargain. You can buy Dorothy's ruby slippers from "The Wizard of Oz". They're going to be sold at an auction in Beverly Hills on Thursday or Friday. Good luck!
Do you know that they were first planned in silver and do you know that there are five pairs of ruby slippers? If you want to know more about the ruby slippers go here.
Have a  colourful day!

Baking biscuits for son and daughter

Last time I had a somehow Christmassy feeling and thought I had to bake a few biscuits. Look, what came out.
I had to admit that I took ready-made gingerbread dough. It was less work but more fun!
I made chocolate spoons for my son with a thick chocolate and cream frosting ...
... and pink spoons for my daughter who loves everything that's pink ...
... and who loves colouring her nails with pink nail polish.
Have a colourful day!

Red room

As I love colours there's also a red room in my house. The chandelier was bought by my grandfather in the 1970s cause it was a great wish to have one once in his life.
It's not easy to take photos because the room is small and has three doors and a window.
This cupboard was made by my grandfather who was a joiner. He made it from old wood.
I found this book years ago at an antiques dealer. It's full of cigarette cards from film stars.
They wear nice hats and have gorgeous hairstyles.
Have a colourful day!

DIY jewellery

Look, what I found on Lindsay's lovely blog "Vintage Rose". She made felt flower brooches herself. As you know these autumnal colours are right for me.

In wartime women made felt jewellery to cheer up their old dresses.

Have a colourful day!
