Colourful soup

You know that I love and also need colours very much in my life. So my food has to be coloured too. This time I had a vegetable soup of many colours which is easy to prepare in autumn.
 
Here the recipe:
1 small onion diced, olive oil, 750 g potatoes, 250 g pumpkin (Hokkaido), 2 red bell peppers, 100 g frozen peas, 2 bouillon cubes, salt, pepper, cheese.
Heat the oil, saute onion until lightly golden, then add potatoes and pumpkin, sliced in small cubes. Add hot water and the bouillon cubes. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add bell peppers after ten minutes and frozen peas at last so that they keep their nice green colour. Pepper and salt to taste. You can add a cup of sweet cream, if you have it. Serve with cheese.
